定期參加伸展運動可以在預防肌肉疲勞和改善整體柔軟度方面帶來實質的益處。柔軟 度指的是關節在其正常活動範圍內平滑移動的能力。足夠的柔軟度直接影響日常活動 、工作表現和運動效果。柔軟度不足可能直接或間接導致關節退行性變化,引發骨刺 、關節炎或腰痛等疾病。
